Successful winter auction sales for Gestuet Ammerland

Beginning of December, Gestuet Ammerland brood mares entered the sales rings at Newmarket and Deauville respectively and will soon continue their breeding careers for new owners.

Consigned by Newsells Park Stud, LAVANDE VIOLET, a half-sister of LOPE DE VEGA by Hurricane Run, who is in foal to Golden Horn went to Stratford Place Stud for 90,000 gns. In foal to Lope de Vega is PROMESSE DE L'AUBE, who left the ring at 75,000 gns while BRISTOL BAY, a granddaughter of the great BRITANNIA, had to make a few more rounds before she was released. The Montjeu-mare is in foal to Lope De Vega and was acquired by Blandford Bloodstock for 400,000 gns. All of the latter mares were consigned by our Irish partner Ballylinch Stud.
