MR HOLLYWOOD amazing runner-up in Gr.1 IDEE 154th German Derby

MR HOLLYWOOD, who was bred at our stud Ammerland, finished as a very strong runner-up in today's 154th edition of the most important race of the year, the €650,000 Gr.1 IDEE German Derby. After his second place in the Gr.2 188th Union-Rennen, the colt out of MARGIE'S MUSIC had entered the race as one of the co-favorites and more than lived up to this assessment. MR HOLLYWOOD ran the expectedly strong race and was only beaten by the very impressive winner Fantastic Moon in a finish that could hardly be surpassed in terms of suspense. A great success not only for our breeding operation, but also for IQUITOS, whose first crop MR HOLLYWOOD belongs to.

MR HOLLYWOOD passed into the ownership of Wanja Sören Oberhof and Sebastian Weiss at the BBAG Yearling Auction 2021. The colt is trained by Henk Grewe and was ridden by Lukas Delozier. Congratulations to the whole team for this wonderful success!
