CHESSPIECE with Black Type win in Glasgow Stakes

Ammerland-bred CHESSPIECE came to his first Black Type win at Hamilton last night when putting up a stylish performance in the Listed-level Glasgow Stakes with James Doyle on board. The three-year-old Nathaniel colt was two lenghts clear after 2,300 metres for his third win overall and did not disappoint his followers, who favourized him following his third place in the Gr.2 Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot four weeks ago. CHESSPIECE races in the world famous Godolphin colours and is in training with Simon Crisford.
