2YO LOPE DE VEGA son BEAUVATIER shines in Gr.3 Prix la Rochette win

Two-year-old BEAUVATIER by LOPE DE VEGA romped to a thrilling victory in today's Gr.3 Prix la Rochette (€80,000) at Paris-Longchamp with Maxime Guyon on board. The trainee of Yann Barberot was taken off the pace by Guyon and send flying down the final straight where he impressed with an incredible turn of foot, deciding the race within just one furlong and clocking in after 1,400 metres for his first group success. The colt remains unbeaten in four outings and is nominated for the Gr.1 Grand Criterium on the day of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
